Ceetrus continues its investment in Cartier Coresi and opens the first hotel of the French group in Brasov

Ceetrus, the developer of Cartier Coresi – Romania’s largest urban regeneration project, has inaugurated the French group’s first hotel in Brasov. The new hotel destination – Qosmo – is developed on an area of over 12,000 sqm with a total investment amounting to 16 million euros.  The hotel will be managed by local partner Kronwell following an international selection process.

The four-star location is organized on nine floors, has 133 rooms (128 Standard Design and Superior Concept, 4 Signature Junior Suites and Qosmo Suite) and includes a restaurant (170 seats), a Cocktail Bar Studio with a capacity of 60 seats, two modular conference rooms with a maximum capacity of 600 seats and a casino.  The new project in the Coresi district complements the functionalities already developed by Ceetrus Romania: retail (60,000 sqm), residential (more than 2,200 apartments built together with Kasper Development) and office (60,000 sqm in partnership with Ascenta Management).

“After 9 years of adventure, Cartier Coresi means above all the joy of people. I take advantage of the opening of the Qosmo hotel to bring to the forefront partners without whom we would not have succeeded as beautifully and to whom I thank them. Our neighbourhood is adding a new and extremely useful function to the ones we already know: retail, residential, office, services… and the adventure continues in our neighbourhood.

The development of the Qosmo by Kronwell project is based on studies that have highlighted the city’s need for more four and five star accommodation options in the context of the Brasov tourist hotspot. We have set ourselves the goal to complete with a consistent investment the eco-system of the best quality services, both for the city community and for those for whom Brasov is a destination. I welcome the strategy of the local authorities oriented towards a green and touristic Brasov, as well as the imminent opening of the airport, which will certainly add more value to the city and the whole region” Tatian Diaconu, CEO Ceetrus Romania.
