Ceetrus, the developer of Cartier Coresi – Romania’s largest urban regeneration project, innovates and responds to the challenges of the current context by taking a comprehensive approach to the existing needs of the office market. Coresi Business Campus, with an area of 60,000 sqm, is today one of the largest office campuses in the country. Companies have at their disposal 20,000 sqm of sports corridors and generous green spaces, so necessary in the current context.
While most companies have taken the “wait and see” approach, opting for a hybrid between office and remote work, Coresi Business Campus has provided unconventional spaces for outdoor meetings and office space transformed into a co-working, networking or educational hub concept.
The Business Factory is the place where freelancers, entrepreneurs, employees of various companies, consultants, specialists share equipment, but sometimes also ideas and expertise in different fields. A year ago, Ceetrus inaugurated in Brasov, in Coresi Business Campus, The Business Factory project, a dynamic co-working space, with a mixed structure of 130 offices, both in open space and private spaces.
By the end of 2021, the total space for the project will amount to approximately 3000 sqm and more than 250 office spaces of various sizes, after a total investment of more than €1.3 million. It is located on the ground floor of the H1 office building, a 15,000 sqm Class A building, part of the Coresi Business Campus Brasov, which hosts both national and international companies.
The project aimed, in the first phase, to contribute to the development of the business environment, the entrepreneurial environment and local leadership by facilitating networking between co-workers in thematic events. Subsequently, the formula proved successful, with the concept bringing together entrepreneurs from all over the country and abroad.
Part of the project is the IAR 80 conference room, where a wide range of events can be organised for the business community, but also for professional associations, NGOs or cultural institutions.
With its facilities: parking, security, outdoor area, sports areas, meeting rooms, library, open space for informal meetings and kitchen where social distancing measures are respected, etc., The Business Factory reached maximum occupancy in a very short time and so the developer Ceetrus decided to extend the project with additional co-working space.
The new co-working office complex is the fourth Ceetrus space dedicated to communities, following the projects Cartier Hub Drumul Taberelor through NOD Makerspace, Cartier Hub Coresi through Learnexx and the first section of co-working offices. Thus, The Business Factory expands with a new 1300 sqm area dedicated to specialists from different fields who will want to carry out their daily work in an innovative business cluster, with an ultramodern design, top facilities and services.
In the new socio-economic context, development trends in the labour market are converging towards greater flexibility in terms of the organisation of the workspace and towards finding alternative solutions to the traditional way of working. Professionals who find themselves in the co-working space have all the freedom to make their personal mark, generate more value and complete successful professional projects, all the more so as this space is integrated into the eco-system of the largest urban regeneration project, Cartier Coresi, a neighbourhood with multiple functionalities: office area, regional shopping centre, residential area, co-working space, community hub and hotel.
The promise of The Business Factory is besides offering the best working conditions complying with the Class A office standard, access to a consulting platform for start-ups or freelancers that will provide services in the financial, legal, marketing area. Coresi Business Campus offers companies a versatile and flexible space to work with various services and facilities. The whole complex creates opportunities to work in a space designed to attract and retain talent, the campus has spaces for recreation and sports activities and a rich agenda of community events and projects.

Ceetrus was established in Romania in January 2012 and owns a portfolio of 23 shopping centres nationwide and the mixed-use project Cartier Coresi – the largest urban regeneration project in the country.
Cartier Coresi integrates the unity of the three entities developed by Ceetrus: Coresi Shopping Resort, Coresi Avantgarden (together with Kasper Development) and Coresi Business Campus (together with Ascenta). Our goal is for it to become a meeting place of innovation, entrepreneurial courage and community attitude in support of people. The Coresi project, developed on 120 hectares, brings together daily, in an integrated eco-system, more than 10,000 people who work or live in the Coresi district, and the mission undertaken by Ceetrus is to develop and animate the district in harmony with the city and the region by improving the mix of functionalities and living experiences in the district in the coming years.
The Coresi neighbourhood has been achieved both by rejuvenating old industrial buildings and by creating new landmarks, and is the first multi-purpose project of this scale, bringing together commercial, residential, office, entertainment, community and public space functions within a 10-year timeframe, leveraging and multiplying local opportunities.
In January 2021, the French group owned by the Mulliez family announced the creation of the Nhood services company, which acts on behalf of the Mulliez Family Association companies – including Ceetrus.
